Job Opening At The Orchard

We are looking for Cidery Ambassadors at our Innovation Cider House in Walden, NY.

The Cidery Ambassador position is responsible for supporting the day‐to‐day operations of the tour center. This role supports the Tour Center Team, retails sales, tasting room, and special events. The Cidery Ambassador assists the team with opening and closing duties and must be available to work high volume shifts including weekends and nights. Want to apply? WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist with a range of daily tour center duties
  • Support with the opening/closing of the tour center, including but not limited to overseeing daily task list and side work
  • Responsible for the overall upkeep of the tour center, tasting rooms, gift shop, and orchard lawn. Communicate maintenance and inventory needs to upper management.
  • Aid in training new employees
  • Provides customer service to all tour center guests
  • Provides retail sales service in the gift shop and supports the physical monthly inventory count.
  • Work with the Tour Center Coordinator to help setup up displays, promotions, and announcements in the tour center
  • Assist with the monitoring tour center for quality and cleanliness
  • Help in various marketing and event promotion as needed
  • Act as a role model to other Cidery Ambassadors at all times

  • WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school certificate
  • Experience with food or beverage service
  • Experience with retail POS
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and possible holidays
  • Able and willing to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
  • Candidates must be local and of legal drinking age
  • Ability to work in a flexible and changing schedule.
  • Must have a strong understanding of safety protocol
