At the Angry Orchard Cider House, we value the health and safety of our guests and coworkers. We are currently opened for indoor and outdoor seating, which is first come, first serve. The Cider House is open Thursday and Friday from 12-6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 11am-6pm! All seating will be spaced at least 6 ft apart. Outdoor seating is weather permitting. We will strictly be following all guidelines around cleaning and sanitation laid out by the state of NY.
The Hudson Valley also has a long cider making tradition. Before prohibition, cider apple orchards were common to find in the region. Cider has been made here for more than 200 years! Like many of the orchards in the area, our orchard has a long history. It has been a farm since the 1700s and the first apple trees were planted here around 100 years ago. The Crist Family took ownership of this orchard in 1963 and as leaders in the apple growing industry, grew both culinary and cider apples.
We are committed to bringing traditional cider varieties and lost heirloom varieties back to the United States. As such, certain areas of the orchard are designated for new cider apple plantings and varietal research, in collaboration with local institutions and growers.
See where our cider makers craft innovative new ciders - many of which are available only at our cidery in Walden, NY.
Please note: We do not encourage parking at any local business, residences, or roads unless otherwise designated by Angry Orchard. Vehicles that are towed or damaged are the responsibility of the owner. No outside food or beverage is allowed at the Orchard. We reserve the right to check oversized bags.
During your visit, we offer various draft, canned, and bottled cider for purchase. Cider tasting flights are also available for purchase with no additional booking required. Enjoy fresh food from our in-house kitchen all days we are open with the addition of food trucks onsite on Saturdays and Sundays.
