Here’s what you need to know before visiting the Orchard!
The Cider House is located in Walden, NY! We are open year-round. Our full address is 2241 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY 12586. You can grab directions at this link.
Yes we are! Our current hours of operation are Thursday & Fridays 2-8pm, Saturdays 11am-8pm, and Sundays 11am-6pm. We are open all holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas, New Years Eve & New Years Day. The Cider House is open rain or shine!
We are currently in our peak season at the Orchard and experience a large number of guests on the weekends. Due to our high volume of visitors, the Orchard may temporarily suspend entry when at capacity. Make sure to follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on any closures – Instagram @AngryOrchardWalden.
When visiting during the weekend, we recommend arriving during our lower volume times of the day, which are typically before 1pm or after 4:30pm to avoid long lines and large crowds. We do not take reservations for seating – all seating is first-come, first-serve.
We highly recommend guests bring blankets or lawn chairs as seating is limited. No pop-up tents or tables. We do have limited indoor seating and can fill up quickly depending on seasonality.
Electronic or card payment is preferred.
Last call for food will be 30 minutes prior to closing and last call for cider will be 15 minutes prior to closing.
We do offer food for purchase from our in-house kitchen! Menu items include shareable appetizers, various meal options with gluten free substitutions and more. We do not allow any outside food or beverages. Our kitchen will be open Mondays 12-7:30pm, Wednesday & Thursday 2-7:30pm, Friday 12-7:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10-7:30pm. Check out our menu. On Saturdays and Sundays, we also have a local food truck onsite.
All parking for the Angry Orchard Cider House is limited and first-come, first-serve.
If you are arriving in a bus or large vehicle, we recommend calling the Cider House 24 hours prior to your visit - 845-713-5180. All buses or larger vehicles are able to drop off guests at the main building but must be parked at our RT. 52 parking lot. We strongly recommend that we are your first stop on your trip. If the site is closed due to capacity, we do not allow group drop-off. Groups larger than 10 require a designated contact (name & phone number). All members must have a valid 21+ ID or passport to be issued a wristband.
Guests cannot return to their bus/limo until departing the orchard. There will be no re-admittance after re-entering a bus/limo. Groups are treated as one entity. If management determines that a member of the group is overserved and should be cut off, the whole group will be denied service.
Please note: We do not encourage parking at any local business, residences, or roads unless otherwise designated by Angry Orchard. Vehicles that are towed or damaged are the owner's responsibility.
Tours are not required to visit the Cider House but are available as an add-on to your visit! Book a tour or experience.
We are happy to welcome our four-legged friends! Guests must be sat outside if accompanied with a dog. The dog must be on a leash and always be monitored by the owner.
Yes we do! You can check-out our live music and event schedule here.
You sure can! We now offer different packages based on what you’re looking to book the Cider House for. You can learn more about our private event offerings by visiting our private events page.
We are an active Orchard year-round – drones are not permitted on property at the Cider House at any time.
